One of Tuscany's best kept secrets is the beautiful valley sheltering this extraordinary 19h century farm house, a podere retaining all the charm and delight of its past combined with updated comfort and set in one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Maremma coastline in southern Tuscany.
As you enter Podere Santa Pia, only 3km from the quaint village of Castiglioncello Bandini, you are irresistibly attracted to the beautiful light, space and panoramic views in every direction - a place of peace and quiet where you can breathe in the truly natural atmosphere.
September and October are particularly important months as they bring the 'vendemmia' or grape harvest. To let you enjoy some of the most beautiful months of the year, we offer a great discount.

September is usually one of the most pleasant months of the year to visit Tuscany. The warmest months are generally July and August, while June, September and October offer nice warm weather in general without it being too hot.
Autumn in the Tuscan Maremma is the best time of the year to admire unique landscapes overrun by the vines that have already borne their fruits and have taken all the shades of black and white, green and red. Observe the grape harvests in late September, or participate in the grape harvest at one of the local farms where culture and tradition blend together. You may observe the wine making process, and visit and taste the best wines the Montecucco region has to offer .
October with the traditional Festa dell' uva in Cinigiano, offers music and open wine cellars.
Stay two weeks during the months of September or October in the heart of the evocative Tuscany country and receive a 20% discount.

Podere Santa Pia is located in the heart of southern Tuscany, close to Montalcino, in the province of Siena. Perhaps because of its geographic position, far away from the crowded main roads and lacking big industrial poles, here a virtually untouched and to a large extent wild landscape endures. The territory of Montalcino, symbol of this magical rapport between man and nature, was declared in 2004, with the four municipalities of Castiglion d’Orcia, Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia, Radicofani, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
“The Val d’Orcia is an exceptional reflection of the way the landscape was re-written in Renaissance times to reflect the ideals of good governance and to create an aesthetically pleasing picture. Images of the Val d’Orcia, and particularly depictions of landscapes where people are depicted as living in harmony with nature, have come to be seen as icons of the Renaissance and have profoundly influenced the development of landscape thinking”.
